Last night, Joe Fred attended “An Evening for Peace” (the 3rd annual fund raiser for the Children’s Global Peace Project) and made a cameo musical performance!

Children’s Global Peace Project (CGPP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers children worldwide to transform their challenging emotions and conflicts into healthy self expression and peaceful
co-creation. Through experiential games and exercises, multicultural songs, dance, and art, students learn to move beyond prejudice and assumption to realize their potential, their connection to each other,
and the global human family. They are are building a global network of schools where every child discovers the power of peace and our interconnectedness.

In 2009, the Children’s Global Peace Project taught 358 classes to 11,206 children in Colorado, Wisconsin, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Uganda, and sent peace banners to connecting classrooms in Uruguay, Tanzania, Norway, India, Iran, Germany, Japan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Their mission is to help children find peace and strength within, harmony with others,
and beauty in diversity.
